Effective August 13, 2026
Short version: Garden is young, your data is yours, be decent with it, and we'll be straight with you.
Garden is offered by Don't Be Evil, Inc., a Delaware public benefit corporation. Questions: [email protected].
Garden is a personal CRM for keeping up with the people you care about. It is in active development; features will appear, change, and occasionally break. We'll do our best to warn you when a change matters.
Keep your login to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under it. You must be at least 13 to use Garden.
Everything you put in your garden stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store it, back it up, display it to you, and process it for the features you use (like transcribing your voice notes or running Scout when you ask). We claim no other rights to it.
Your garden holds information about people who aren't users. You're responsible for using it the way a decent friend would: for keeping up your own relationships, not for spam, harassment, surveillance, or anything unlawful.
Don't break, probe, or overload the service; don't try to access other people's gardens; don't use Garden for anything illegal.
You can stop using Garden any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms; if we ever discontinue Garden, we'll give you notice and a way to take your data with you.
Garden is provided as-is. We work hard on it, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us for Garden in the twelve months before the claim (today: nothing, since Garden is free while in beta).
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Garden means you accept the change.
